Our center was born out of a simple but powerful conviction: every human being is precious in God's eyes and deserves to be cared for, loved, and accompanied with dignity. My personal commitment, as well as that of my entire team, is inspired by Jesus' promise in John 4:14:
"But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

The Source de Vie Senegal Evangelical Medical and Social Center is a humanitarian and religious project aimed at sustainably improving access to primary healthcare and basic surgical care, while offering spiritual and psychosocial support.
Inspired by the Word of God, this center aims to be a place where life is protected, cared for, and restored, in accordance with the biblical vision of compassion.

The village of Takhoum is located in the department of Mbour, in the Thiès region. This area is experiencing sustained population growth and is a focal point for several surrounding villages.
In terms of health, the village of Takhoum and its surroundings face several challenges:
Distance from equipped healthcare facilities (centers and hospitals in Mbour)
Insufficient number of functional health centers in the immediate vicinity
Transportation difficulties and high costs of accessing healthcare
Frequent delays in diagnosis and treatment
Increased vulnerability of pregnant women, children, and the elderly
The establishment of the Source de la Vie medical and social center in Takhoum will enable:
Quick access to local healthcare services
Reducing costly medical evacuations
Decongestion of public facilities in Mbour
Better health coverage for several villages
Spiritually speaking, the village of Takhoum has a real need for structured pastoral support:
Weak institutional presence of the Church in the social sphere
