Our center was founded on a simple yet powerful conviction: every human being is precious in God’s eyes and deserves to be cared for, loved, and supported with dignity. My personal commitment, as well as that of my entire team, is inspired by Jesus’ promise in John 4:14:

The Source de Vie Senegal Medical and Social Center is currently in the midst of a major expansion.
The Source de Vie Senegal Evangelical Medical and Social Center is a humanitarian and faith-based project aimed at sustainably improving access to primary and basic surgical care, while providing spiritual and psychosocial support.
Inspired by the Word of God, this center is intended to be a place where life is protected, cared for, and restored, in accordance with the biblical vision of compassion.

The village of Takhoum is located in the Mbour Department, Thiès Region. This area is experiencing steady population growth and serves as a hub for several surrounding villages.
In terms of public health, the village of Takhoum and its surrounding area face several challenges:
Distance from equipped healthcare facilities (health centers and hospitals in Mbour)
Lack of functional health facilities in the immediate vicinity
Transportation challenges and high costs associated with accessing healthcare
Frequent delays in diagnosis and treatment
Increased vulnerability of pregnant women, children, and the elderly
The establishment of the Source de la Vie medical-social center in Takhoum will make it possible to:
Quick access to local healthcare
Reducing costly medical evacuations
Relieving congestion in Mbour's public facilities
Better healthcare coverage for several villages
From a spiritual perspective, the village of Takhoum has a real need for structured pastoral care:
Limited institutional presence of the Church in the social sphere
Few places where people can be heard, find support, and hold onto hope
We need a Christian witness embodied in service
The center will serve as a bridge between the Gospel and the community, offering a visible witness to Christ’s love through acts of care.
